Hunting with a tree saddle does take some adjustment time, and making early modifications could hold you back. Just as each hunter has their unique style, everyone seems to use a tree saddle a bit differently.
That first season with a saddle should be a trial period. Depending on your hunting style, you may want to make adjustments or find that the basics work perfectly for you.
